Can your courses be customised for a company’s in-house needs?
Absolutely. If you have a team with a minimum of 8~10 (dependent on course), we can organise and curate courses and content just for your company.

Am I eligible for SkillsFuture Singapore Funding?
Currently there are a few selected courses that are eligible for funding, so please feel free to contact us to find out more.
For employer-sponsored participants
Trainee must be Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident of Singapore and must be employed by companies in accordance to the Employment Act.For Individual self-sponsored participants
Singaporeans aged 25 years and above may use **SkillsFuture Credit balance to offset respective course fees. -
What are your cancellation policies?
Public Run Course
Withdrawal or deferment notice must be given in writing:- 2 weeks or more before commencement date: No charge
- Less than 2 weeks before commencement date: 30% course fee will be levied.
- Non-attendance - course fee will remain payable in full.
- Replacements from the same company are allowed.
In-House Training
The contract can be cancelled in writing up to 4 weeks before the scheduled seminar date at no cost to the client. The date the written cancellation reaches the client is decisive. Cancellations received by the client at a later date will be charged as follows:- Up to 4 weeks before the scheduled course date: 50% of the agreed fee
- Up to 2 weeks before the scheduled course date: 75% of the agreed fee
- Less than 2 weeks before the scheduled course date the full fee is due.
- In the latter case, the client will also charge cancellation costs for any costs incurred by third parties (eg. accommodation, expenses etc.)

Where is your Training Facility?
We’re located in Tai Seng, just 3 minutes’ walk from the MRT station to the Trivex Building where we’re located on the fourth floor.
Arriving by MRT: Tai Seng MRT
- Look out for signage Exit A
- From the MRT ticket entrance , turn left to Irving Rd
- Take the escalator up, turn left and walk towards Irving Place
- Walk along the road until you see a coffee shop and Trivex Building Signage.
Arriving by TAXI
- Turn in to Playfair Road from Macpherson Road
- and drop-off at the Trivex coffee shop, or enter Trivex Building from Burn Rd.
Arriving by BUS
- Bus Numbers: 22, 24, 28, 43, 58, 62, 70, 70M, 76, 80, 93, 158, 641 - Along Upper Payar Lebar Road (Bus Stop code: 70281)
Arriving by CAR
- From Macpherson Road, Turn in to Playfair Road Turn left to Harrison Road and left again to Burn Road

Are there places to eat nearby?
Yes, in fact we have many different selections of food and shopping malls nearby.

Do you provide lunch?
No. But we do provide two meals during our two breaks of each day of the course. If you have any special meal requirements, please let us know in advance. All meals are Halal and are served as individual bento set meals.

Do you provide free WiFi or phone charging?
Yes, we have wireless phone charges built-in to our learning tables that also come with a Power Socket and two USB ports. We do provide WiFi, but preferably only made it available if its relevant to the course to minimise the use of work email when the actual training is going on. Of course, you can always approach us if its urgent.

How long will I be able to access the courses for?
When payment is made, you will have 1 year (365 days) in which to access and complete the course.

Will there be any Instructor interaction?
No. These courses are designed to be completely self-contained and self-directed.

Will I receive a certificate?
Yes, you will receive a e-certificate upon 100% completion of the course.

Can I get a refund?
No. So please ensure you read through the terms and conditions clearly. And make sure before you buy that these are the right courses for you and your needs.

Virtual

How do I attend the virtual course?
We will process your registration and send you a confirmation email, detailing the time and date of your course and links to sign-in. In addition, we will provide some introductory information (eGuides).

What do I need to download?
You will need to download and install the Zoom app depending what type of computer you are using, i.e., Mac or Windows.

Must I keep my webcam on?
Yes. For those claiming SkillsFuture Credits, participants must keep webcams on for the visual attendance and be visually present throughout the course as per SSG requirement.
In addition, it just makes it easier for trainers to engage with you if they have some visual reference and interaction. Making it a more interesting learning experience for everyone.

Will I receive any training materials?
Yes, all your training materials will be available on the learning platform with all materials being in electronic and downloadable forms.

What are timings for a Virtual day?
9.00am we would require participants to start logging-in and if there are any last-minute issues, we can deal with those before the start of course. The course starts promptly at 9.30am. The course is divided into four blocks of 90 minutes with two 20-minute short breaks and a 1-hour lunch break.

Are Virtual Courses Recorded?
Yes – but these are only for our own internal quality control purposes. These are not shared, distributed or made available to course participants and will be deleted 90-days after the course.

Will I receive a Certificate?
Yes, you will receive an e-certificate of attendance.
Technical Issue

Who do I contact if I face some technical difficulties once I’m in the course?
With regard to Virtual courses, if you face minor issues before the course, you can contact Impress Training, via email mail@impresstraining.com or phone (+65) 66369772. In addition, an Impress administrator will be present in each Live session and can be contacted via the chatroom function. For virtual courses we would place a disclaimer here that certain technical issues cannot be resolved by Impress Training due to the nature on the course; and we are not an IT support centre. The respective providers would need to be contacted for issues relating to work devices or slow or intermittent internet on the participant’s side.
Please carefully check any minimum requirements and do a system check prior to the start of the course. Please read through our available eGuides for further information.
With regard to in-Person, we try our utmost to ensure backups and redundancies are in place to make sure this doesn’t happen. If there are technical difficulties beyond our control, we will either reschedule or refund based on the individual or find the most suitable arrangement if it’s an in-house course.

Do you rent out your training facilities?
We do, but are selective on the type of event that would be permitted and would ensure there is no conflict of interest with our own training business.
